Meetings
The Community Council makes its decisions at meetings held in public. Members of the public are welcome and encouraged to attend. Each meeting will make provision on the agenda for public participation – where residents may raise issues with the council.
Ordinary meetings are generally held at 7:30pm on the first Monday of each month (excluding August) that is not a Bank Holiday. The agenda will state clearly if there is a second part of the meeting which is closed to the public for reasons of confidentiality.
Decisions are made by simple majority.
Meetings are run in accordance with legislation and our Standing Orders.
Notice and agendas of meetings are published in our noticeboards in St Nicholas and Bonvilston, on our Facebook Page and on this website.
