December 6 - Monday - 7pm

At this meeting, consideration will be made of projects for 2022-23 as part of our Budgeting Process, ahead of setting our precept in January.
Accessibility on the Millennium Heritage Trail will be discussed, along with "lost" footpaths.

November 1 - Monday - 7pm

This meeting is expected to be held in a hybrid format - Members and residents able to physically attend at the Reading Rooms, or over Zoom.
Issues will include footpaths and dog poo bag littering.

October 14 - Thursday - Extraordinary Meeting

This extraordinary meeting has been called to consider planning matters.
Our argument for refusal for planning permission on land to the north of
​Maes y Ffynnon - the Village Green.

October 5 - Tuesday

The meeting will include consideration of the latest developments concerning the Village Green at Bonvilston.
An update on S106 monies related to our community will be reviewed.

September 6

There will be further consideration of the application for 10 dwellings on the Village Green at Maes y Ffynnon.
Correspondence from residents will also be considered in relation to a Community Path.  Due to the volume of emails received, this correspondence is contained in a separate document to the agenda (link above).

August 31 - Extraordinary Meeting 

This EGM has been called in response to the Vale of Glamorgan unexpectedly putting forward their proposal for 10 dwellings on the Village Green of Bonvilston for determination by the Planning Committee on September 1 - two days after the August Bank Holiday, and during school holidays.

August 9 - Extraordinary Meeting 

This meeting was requested by members of the working group considering matters related to solar energy generation within our community.
Other time sensitive matters were also considered.

July 19

The meetings will include consideration of a Training Policy for Members and employees, and accessibility of footpaths and obstruction of the highway (footways & footpaths).  NALC have produced a Legal Topic Note on Public Rights of Way.  The Open Space Society Information Sheet C25 is relevant to the consideration of the Highways Act, 130(6).

July 6

We will have a representative present form Quintas Energy, updating us on Whitton Mawr Solar Farm.
We will be considering accessibility to the countryside and Highway Obstruction.

May 10 - Annual Meeting

The Annual Meeting of the Community Council. 
This included the election of Chair, amendments to our Standing Orders, and the appointment of an Internal Auditor.

Cenin Renewables presented their vision for the proposed 'Parc Dyffryn' Solar Park.  The Community Council adopted an Engagement Framework for 2021-22.

January 27

Members of the Community Council co-opted a new MAR Governor to St Nicholas CIW School and discussed future activities and budgets.

January 11

Our first meeting of 2011 will be held remotely on Zoom.  Members will be considering our activities in 2021-22 and how we can better serve our community - taking advantage of the new
